Monochrome Modern is an alter ego project by Bisera Krckovska, compound of drawings, illustrations, collages and other forms of visual expression. Besides her recent attempts to work conceptually and research-based, most of Monochrome Modern’s works reflect her personal memories and past visual experiences expressed through overlapping graphical layers that create harmonious compositions. Focusing on a monochromatic palette in the graphic language as an aesthetic statement, the unpretentious yet compelling visual sets speak for their own simplicity and clearness.
Bisera Krckovska is an architect living and working in Skopje, Macedonia. Drawing on her professional experience and other extracurricular projects, her works are delicately balanced between architectural graphic neatness and unburdened intuitive expression.
